Picasa is free software from Google that helps you find, edit and share pictures on your PC. It automatically locates all your pictures and sorts them into visual folders.

Picasa also offers 'one-click' image fixes and effects.

To begin your image resizing first, locate the image in picasa using the folder browser - then select it and a blue border will appear around it.

Picassa offers convenient 'one click' buttons for emailing images, posting to blogger and exporting. The 'export' function also incorporates an image 'resize' which is what you are looking for.

As well as image resizing, picasa has lots of management and display options for viewing and organising your images including 'timeline' and 'slideshow' functions.
