The following examples show a variety of mash-up ideas that are possible with the mapanno mashup editor.
Using Google Maps
An example showing the option to mashup flickr images over a google map. The mapanno editor allows you to zoom and pan to anywhere in the world and then insert images/text over the top.
Using Second Life Maps!
An example showing the option to mashup flickr images over a Second Life map. The mapanno editor allows you to zoom and pan to anywhere in Second Life and then insert images/text over the top. The Second Life map api does not work with IE7
Showing how things work!
An example presentation highlighting some features of an audi TT using 'pop-out' detail images and text which can be easily achieved using the standard mapanno editing features.
An example highlighting some features of a Sony PRS-500 Portable Reader System. This combines coloured 'pop-out' text inserts over a 3D rendering of the product also with annotated notes embedded over the image.
How to 'Resize and Export Images' incorporates the image slideshow feature, which is a publishing option in the mapanno editor.
